They are maritime professionals, have strong characters and usually an interesting background. Their jobs are very cool, and they do things the rest of us hardly can imagine.

If you have listened to the Shipping Podcast, you know my voice, and you know that I have taken it upon myself to get the shipping industry more visible as I became tired of always have to explain to everyone I meet what the shipping industry is. Everybody is saying that we should raise public awareness, but no one does anything about it. In July 2015, I started this podcast, which now has become a success.
I have been working within the industry for more than 25 years, and I always meet interesting people with a story to tell. Inspired by my shipping friends and my new friends in the digital space, I decided to spread the word about the coolest industry on the planet and help to raise the profile, all by myself. The shipping industry is a peoples’ business, maybe that’s why I like it so much. Finally, you can listen to the maritime industry’s voices, talk about their passion for their jobs, what they think about the future, and what they think about our industry’s current state.
