The Baltic Ports Organization’s mission is to contribute to the economic, social and environmentally sustainable development of maritime transport and the port industry in the Baltic Sea region, thereby strengthening its global competitiveness.
Once a year, the Baltic Ports gather for a Conference, and September 6-8, 2023, the Conference will be hosted by the Port of Ystad. In this episode, we meet Mr Bogdan Oldakowski, Secretary General of the Baltic Ports Organization, BPO, and Mr Björn Boström, Managing Director of Port of Ystad and Host of this year’s Conference. I asked them about the organisation and what we can expect from this year’s Conference.
