Kathleen C. Haines (Kathy) is the Chief Financial Officer, CFO, and Treasurer of Heidmar Inc. and is responsible for the financial management and reporting for Heidmar Inc. and subsidiaries, and for Heidmar International Pools Inc. and subsidiaries. She is also a member of the Heidmar Executive Committee.
Kathy has over 20 years of financial and accounting experience within the maritime industry. Prior to joining Heidmar in 2012, she was a principal of Holbridge Capital Advisors, a financial consulting firm specializing in the maritime industry. Until its sale in 2007, Kathy was the CFO of OMI Corp., one of the largest tanker companies listed on theNYSE.
We discuss the tanker business, still the segment in shipping where you find the big boys, and how Kathy send a lot of time on compliance and screening people they do business with. All oil majors have their own vetting systems and it is important to score vetting points to keep the vessel in business.
